[b][i][blockquote]Rexis have been a couple for almost 2 years now. That's 2 years for Rick in story Siberia. He gets airtime, sure. But he gets no POV, no meaty material that he can sink his teeth into, none of it is about HIM.
For the past couple of years, it's been one Alexis story after another. Every sweeps we get Alexis in crisis with Ric holding her hand.

Alexis worrying over Kristina's illness
Alexis fighting Sonny for custody of Kristina
Alexis frantic over Kristina's kidnapping
Alexis complications in pregnancy
Alexis fighting to keep Sonny away from Kristina
Alexis pregnancy complications during hurricane
Alexis giving birth in a tunnel and almost dying
Alexis getting sick and almost dying
Alexis searching for a long lost daughter

Ric gets to support Alexis, to tell her she's a good mom, she's not a bad person for whatever she's feeling guilty about at the moment.

They don't need an actor of RH's caliber to do that. Ron Moss could play this role in his sleep.

In my opinion, Ric is in deperate need of a backstory. Alexis didn't need a rewrite of her's.

Do they usually do this to all couples, give story to only one half? I never really noticed before.
