I just heard Jessica's song for the first time yesterday and I had no idea Jessica did this song! I thought it was by JoJo or some young new star....then I realized later that day that that was the title of Jesscia's new song. I LOVE IT! Some folks think it sounds like "Holiday" but it so poppy and catchy, like JS being liberated.

do I have to lower my standards:

Judgin on the rants Ive seen at several ATWT sites, I'm thinking, What will it take for the producers to wake up and salvage this show? Are they accepting the lowered ratings? The lack of press? The morbid storylines.

ANd worst of all I cringe that I may have to lower my standards at getting a Lusty story. Thank goodness at least the Justy mess is going to be over soon. WHile I thought the triangle would have been very meaty, alas, I guess they ran out of time to recast...or didn't want GM to work with two recasts OR they just called it quits on Jennifer. and the triangle I envisioned made Jenn a lunatic something I doubt JP would do. So I should be VERY thankful.

Well if they will try at Lusty II, will it kill them to at least have a decent love scene and not FTB this time around. They can do whatever to Lusty as long as I get my love scene finally with them (sans having Dusty sleeping with woman#1 in the morning and then #2 in the evening, PLEASE NO) Hoping by that time around, Dusty is somewhat redeemed at least, GM will make the effort to work out again (he's losing Muscle mass and he shouldn't do that edging closer to 40!), and SG will be more comfortable working in a daytime pace.

Also has anyone noticed the GL cast does A LOT of public appearances???? They do pretty much a big one every single month!!!! ARE they that desperate for attention and ratings?

Spencer, Vegas

Well long time no see even though I'm practically online all evenings! More news: I'm going to Vegas next week woowowowowowow for the fifth time and so I'm going to be ATWT free, so I'll list some stuff here.

Some folks asked me why I don't do recaps of ATWT or even talk about it much....That's cuz I'm all plum tuckered out talking about it on PGP and the Lusty board. I'd rather talk about other stuff on my blogs.

Ok finally, onto Spencer G. I ABSOLUTELY ADORE HER! And not in that Nurse Betty kind of way mind you, cuz I don't want to spook her. She wrote to me back and it was very different. I love that I got even general replies back from GH folks, but she made hers very personable. Of course right now she's getting few emails so she has the time to reply back, I'm afraid one day she will not!

Folks are complaining why she isn't headthrust into a big frontburn story and not being promoted the way Paolo and Paul was. Well, first of all she's a newbie. Second of all, this is actually a blessing.

I've read several Kelsey Grammer interviews from recent times, and it's astonishing that they don't mention the fact his daughter is on ATWT or that he's even asked about it. Granted Spencer is brand new to the show, but I'm amazed that ATWT and CBS didn't have the gall to exploit Spencer and try to pimp her as the next big thing. THAT WOULD HAVE SPELLED DISASTER. Let her own work speak for itself. do word of mouth and don't pimp and promote to death. The pressure isn't on her to make ATWT the greatest soap that's airing since she had that pressure coming on as NuLucy.

What I'm hoping and praying that yes I do want Lucy in a frontburn story, but NOT scorched to death...I think ATWT will not make that mistake as they have done last yr...as you will see the final product of that disaster on July 7

I am currently looking at my Peyton stuff and was even surprised I was able to scavenger hunt and find so many pics of her. Well being a model it came easy. I'm kinda disappointed however that even if she has done so many guest spots and now, two movies, that I don't see press on her beyond occasional blurbs in soapmags. And it looks like she has stopped modeling. I know I can't expect beyond that since she is starting out, but what will it take for her to pack up and give up on L.A.? How many times will she try out for pilot season? How come the other young soap starlets don't come back to soaps? OR they are unable to? Marie Wilson in an interview said she still had to audition for Meg despite being already known as an established soap actress!

There's an SID or SOD article on how much money was spent on Ricky paull's attempt to get the I can't believe it's not butter hunk contract...WOW, while the contest was fresh and cute, I'm stunned GL would pull this stunt over trying to fork money into production. And to have RPG lose, tsk, tsk.

Today, I had access to a Hollywood reporter mag and GOlly were there a lot of movies I hadn't even heard of. I ask myself why actors bother even trying and then realize, hey's it viable work and it may not get promoted but at least they did a movie.

I saw an eppy of "I wanna be a soap star" for the VERY first time believe it or not on my parents' digital satellite network and was intrigued. But not in the way you would think. I thought these contestants WERE OLD! were any of them under 24??? And did they have to pick the bottom of the barrel considering a lot of actors don't bother trying for a soap? Judging by the successes of the previous winners, I doubt they will got beyond this series. I saw the first winner on GH, and I cringed...GH obviously felt it was a burden to write him in...and even as a dayplayer/cop...HOW SAD! Anyway, I'm guessing if u just want to be on tv and on a soap and don't care about quality of acting they could just try out for Passions. BOY was that mean (whacks self on head). Honestly, when I think of this roster, I found no charisma, and nothing to make each actor stand out...then again it's the first eppy. But nobody in that cast screamed "The next Michelle Stafford, the next Tony
Geary" for me.

There had been talks of possible Lucy recasts before Spencer got on, and Chrishnell sauter?'s name came on. She plays Amanda on AMC. And I've read her bio and all though I don't hear her name on the boards often. I don't watch AMC anymore since losing Soapnet, so I wonder if she will stay on any longer??? She's gorgeous, though never seen her act. The other name I though was Jessica pare, who was in Jack and Bobby on WB...though alas, dunno where she's going. She looked EXACTLY LIKE Peyton!

Mike's shower scene

I saw soapdom.com's daytime dollars ads and I must say, while I liked Mike's shower scene in the ad, and I wanna say....Dang I'm embarrased for Mark Collier. Sure's he's studmuffin and all but I 'm thinking...months ago he wanted to leave ATWT to do primetime and he came back for this mimbo stunt...

Surely he's a great sport, but sheesh.

Also wanted to add I did like the other daytime dollars ad with the stars' montages...grayson did look hawt swinging his jacket around...though he must've done it in his toupee season last winter. he had better hair in 2004 while doesn't he stick to that?

Sir Dusty and the Red Dragon

Once upon a time, Sir Dusty of Oakdale was heading his way towards Springfield on his mighty steed. He came upon a Red Dragon named Jennifer in his path and would not let him pass.

"You cannot pass here," Jenn the Red Dragon billowed. "You will have to marry me or DIE"

daytime dollars

I read an interesting piece by carolyn hinsey about how GL and ATWT are wasting money on daytime dollars, music videos, kissing soaphunks contests, pimpin butter shows, and not spending money on writing and production....WOW what an interesting concept...using money to improve upon prodcution values and writing!

How much money is being pumped into daytime dollars? I go to two sweepstakes boards and they list the passwords for each day so u don't have to watch the shows. So this contest defeated the purpose of bringin in new viewers!

Come to think of it, why is ATWT recasting Jenn? They are giving Jenn Ferrin's future salary to Spencer, so why shell out more money over a recast nobody wants? I've never seen such hatred for one character and folks are wondering why writers are obsessed with her.

I bought the newest tvguide and Michael Logan noted how GL and ATWT seriously needs buzz now and was dismayed at the lack of press the soaps got for even winning several acting emmys. So I'm curious what the soaps will do to generate buzz cuz obvisouly a ATWT dance video Just did not cut it last yr. HAHA.

meltdown comics

on TV guide channel they were showcasing X3 and the host was in a comic store with large collection of Xmen stuff...I find out where that store was, it's is from www.meltcomics.com in LA...LUCKY ANGELINOS!

Yes, I loved X3 so much I'm going to watch it again in the theatres.
