Just saw Becky H and Natalia, and they were the sweetest folks! I'm surprising myself that I actually went despitenot watching GH for past couple of years. I still think Tamara and Rick's were the best, but very pleased I went today. Becky signed a card for me but I already have gujillion autographs from her!

Someone paid 1000 bucks for a General Hospital Autographed jacket. I gotta give kudoes to them cuz in the past three yrs despite all the Ebaying, mag buying, pics buying of GH/ATWT, I don't think I've hit 300 bucks.
And another auction was for a studio tour that went for 1,500. See above.

Prolly this is the last gig I'll ever go to soapwise unless Grayson comes here. Which is a mil to one.

OMG I almost forgot Natalia and Becky are coming here tomorrow...thankfully I remembered yesterday and prepared myself. as an aside dunno if Natalia will remember it was Grayson who handed her the Emmy a year ago.

about that Wicked Game reference a couple nites ago I was watching a repeat of Ellen Degneres Show on Oxygen and lo an behold, Chris Isaak sang that song!!!! woo!

Ok everyone who is not an ABC fan, please vote for Ricky Paull Goldin at http://hunks.tasteyoulove.com/Default.aspx for their hunks contest. Ricky is just a smidgen behind Greg. I adore Ricky and Beth even though I don't watch GL too often and I thought Ricky and Grayson were adorable in their CBS interview. Ricky even commented how how gangly G looked when they did AW, and now he's so hunky. And also Ricky asked him if he wanted kids, and G sheepishly looked down and said, yea. Lil Grayson's running around, whoa.

I hope to have more Grayson stuff this summer. Hopefully he can pose in swimtrunks again in a tabloid mag. As a record he's done that three straight yrs! Alas, they used pics from the CBS shoot in summer of 2003, but hey it counts.

U know it didn't hit me that I haven't promoted my Grayson site on the aTWT sites and now that I've checked out other fansites, dayum I am wayyyyy behind!

I always assumed G doesn't do much interviews and blurbs and that I didn't miss much in the soapmags...out of the past yr I've only bought.....two soap mags. (and also with me just really not caring about ATWT for the past yr)I went to a Terri Columbino fansite and was impressed there was a Terri blurb in just about every issue of SOW SID and SOD. And that was dedication to buy those mags and keep up with typing up the stuff.

Hopefully if I like Lusty 2.0, I'll buy the mags...so now I have to create a budget for that! sigh.

I checked out Alexandra Chandro's fansite having no idea who Maddie was until now, didn't know she has been on the show since one yr ago! I just noticed her now cuz she looks like
Spencer and I think they are the same age, just that Spencer looks more regal and older. It was odd that Alexandra was amusing herself with the idea of Maddie and Mike together with Mark being an older man. and that it was too risque....well Alexandra...u can watch and learn when Lusty comes back.

I've been surfing the net for Ryan and Gillian sites and I found one that is still kinda updated!
I'm very impressed there are still some Rg sites out there, and I think along with JJ'a Lucky and Liz, they are the last of the supercouple breed in soaps. RG had a three yr run and I am amazed at the amount of press shots and press they have had (but alas back then there were more than 3 soapmags!). I knowthis is mean, but I never saw Cameron that hot again since Esta left the show.

daytime emmys

OK back to recappin the Daytime Emmys
I was on pins and needles WAITING for G's category, so it was a shocker that it took two hrs...when in the past it was usually the first to be announced. When he lost, I really lost interest in the show. Some folks have said with the low ratings, could it be possibly one day when they are taken away from primetime? I think even with its lowest ratings, gosh it's on a Friday night...I think they can spare this day just to show the awards...unless they would pull a Ms America and show it on Saturday night. as a trivia note this is the last awards show on network until the real emmys in sept.

I'm glad GL won the acting categories and partially becuz I didn't want ABC folks to win. haha...I've not watched GL in awhile and the online discussion says the soap 's writing suck in general it' s just that the actors get great scenes but has nothing to do storywise.

I've gone to several emmy galleries and I'm stunned Grayson isn't in any of them...Where the hell was he? And come to think of it even as a presenter, Rebecca Herbst is MIA! Where is Rick? There's 109 pics on abc.com and they don't show ABC soapsters?

I just saw Hugh Jackman on the Tonight show last night, and dude was that whole bit about gettin punked was hilarious! Also I should be more thrilled about the X3 movie and mebbe I will next month.

I did finally read Gambit's House of Cards in under an hr, and wow I was underwhelmed. though it was nice to read a Gambit series since we all know he will be out of the Marvelverse this year. And yet more big news. I'm running out of stuff to talk about on the Xmen other than Remy leaving and teh movie, so alas I'm back to using soaps here as a filler. Sorry to the Romy folks out there.

I finally watched that Inside Edition ditty the CBS hunks did last August. I can't believe it took me 7 months to download the bit and see it, cuz I had already seen the snappies and got lazy about downloading. anyway I recall trying to find the Star mag here but I went to store and store and couldn't find the dang issue. And not a bad thing since Grayson's face is covered by the stapled section of the mag. In the IE bit, he puts bunny ears on Mark collier and then jumps into the pool. He is wearing Abercrombie and Fitch.

Well, I've come to a standstill and cant' believe it. I 'll be watching ATWT again this summer after doing with a soap for more than a year. WOW that's a record. I miss getting into a tv couple and with summer primetime in reruns it will be nice to see something new again since soaps do not rerun. It would also be nice to read up on G again. yes, I've given in and wil be plunkingdown dough to get more G pics again. And then I realized something. No wonder I really haven't cared much about recent interviews of G. CUZ HE RARELY EVER DOES ANY! (but then he;ll do the same schtick over and over) I went over to soapdigest.com and dang Mark Collier has his own section to link all the interviews and shoots he's done for the mags!!!!

Ok finally, my recap ot the daytime emmy awards. I love awards show s and the Daytime emmys are the Kookiest of the bunch. It was near perfect until GH won for best drama. Did I ever mention before I LOATHE JFP WITH A THOUSAND SUNS? ok more to come later today.
