I've been thinking about Rick hearst a lot, for the Romy folks out here, I've decided to still put some input to soaps (though haven't watched in over a yr). I go to Soapzone, and page after page there's nothing about Ric. This is not what i had envisioned three yrs ago when I first saw him and was completely mesmerized. it makes me sad that now Rick is denigrated to the role of a potted plant. I doubt Rick thought of this too while he was frontburner in 2003-2004. How depressing. This is a sexy talented man and I'm completely clueless (if he's a FOJ) why he's not being utilized as he should.
I wanted to mention my thoughts about the beautiful pics posted for the Xmen faerie tales#3...OMG I love this manga art...and just a stunner it's the last we'll see of Remy at least for another six months!
I went to halfprice books and even with my 50% coupon in hand, I had nothing to buy! Once again, every Remy and Romycentric issue was missing and there were TONS of other Xmen issues!!!!
I saw DH last night and much to my surprise Kyle Machlaclan? guested on the show!!! I heard about is stint but didn't think to see him this soon! And I'm happy for him becuz I loved Twin Peaks and he along with Lara Flynn and Madchen have had steady acting gigs in the past decade. I 've always thought the stars on that show would go on to bright things but alas Hollywood is so darn hard to break.
Well it's finally official, I'm hooked onto the primetime cnn, msnbc, hh newsshows and stopped watching network tv. Right now I'm watching Rita Cosby.
I just saw the fairty tales cover for Romy for July and I'm smitten. It's so completely haunting and different then the cartoonish covers I see...and it did hit me now that will be the last we see of Remy for awhile. I've been so MIA from the stories and just to think I've restarted my site only to see Remy leaving marvelverse!
reading the spoilers for UXM 185, it got me thinking...all this Death Remy stuff and how he loves Anna and that apocalypse wants to brainwash the love out of him reminds me of not only Dark Phoenis.but BUFFY AND ANGEL! AND PHOEBE AND COLE! Now those two pairs didn't end so well, but with long continuity (and knowing that RR will marry by 2028) I'm more than eager to see how they will bring Remy back....are they gonna have a scene where the Xmen tell Anna to kill DeathRemy and then she goes I CAN'T!!!!!!!

Hello, I did have some news to make...I won't be doing anything on my G homepage for the next month other than his Emmy showing. I.....have been losing interest soapwise, not really giving a damn about ATWT, GH, in general. Grayson's interview came out and I couldn't care less sorry to say. (besides I have just about every interview out there in the past 13 yrs).
One thing to note: today in May's Glamour issue was a feature called worst sex moments. There's a 40 yr old who said she met a soap opera guy in a trendy bar and went home with him. During afterglow he called up a friend and had the 40yr old speak to his friend on the phone who turned out to be another woman! She asked her how the sex was! THe caveat? She is from NYC and she's 40...ummm....she's around Grayson's age. Anything thinking...Grayson's crazy enuf for this! OMG Is this what he came to NYC for? TO pull antics like this???? When he said he was messing around in LA and wanted to leave that mess!
Ok, so maybe it wasn't Grayson, but the guy's losing points over the past few months. Grayson baby, we know your school closed down, your on a sucky soap, and pilot season didn't too well, but save you damn self!
woohoo I got a raise so that means I could spend more money on finding grayson stuff...hahaha
some folks asked if I was for Grayson leaving or stayin on the show cuz I was happy about the potential Lucy recast.
my answer: If Grayson got a gig in LA, I 'D GO OVER TO NEW YORK AND HELP HIM PACK!
I don't want to believe that this is G's lot in life...being on a soap when there are great dramas on primetime to be in. But alas, mebbe it is just not in his cards...sad though cuz he's a soap actor with really good connections, the man knows James L Brooks and Jerry Bruckheimer.
I guess I gotta see how Lusty II plays out. I can welcome a Lustyaffair if it means G being enthusiastic once again about being on the soap. And besides, this show prolly won't last beyond 2007, the year CBS ends it.

Dusty is MIA and tied up by Emily right now drinking water from a bowl and barely eating...where is he crapping? (I just saw a pic of him tied down on the ground)...and when Jenn rescues him (guess in a month since G's hiatus was that LONG) is she gonna go wow u smell ripe!
Over a decade ago, when Rick Hearst was playing Alan Michael on GL...AM was tied up to a bed and treated like an animal...where did he go to the bathroom?
On the Grayson front...there's a complete void of Grayson's site being down for over a month. WAAAHHH.
If Grayson doesn't appear in the commerative eppy on Friday (I don't see him in the preview pics, it was taped during his trip to CA), it got me thinking...where 's G? Due to this pilot season, he didn't do the 50th anniv. picture, he didn't tape teh Soaptalk WT anniversary eppisode despite being in CA already, didn't appear at the TV/museum meet, and has done ZERO interviews about celebrating the anniv. I'm eager to find out what he will say in the next SID!
Hi, I've decided to send Grayson's present next week and I"ll do another possible good luck card next month before the Emmy's. Remember Lustyfans just think on the line it's a best achievement award rather than his work from last year.
When I found out Becky Herbst made her sixth appearance on Soaptalk just got me thinking. Grayson's never been on Soaptalk..He's been mentioned on it before but he's never been!!! Mark Collier has been on it three times...Peyton has done two shows. I know G doesn't go out to CA often but jeez even Mark goes out there and he works just as much as G. WHY?
I'm psyched about Peyton doing WIndfall next summer cuz that means she'll do maybe more photo shoots for EW and TVguide. When she was doing Lusty in 2004 It was a great scavenger hunt finding stuff on her. THankfully she modelled becuz she was ignored mainly by the soap rags...SHE ONLY did THREE interviews in a three year stint!
"So I loathe the ABCD line-up (even though I've been a GH addict for far too long...blame Robert & Holly *sniff*), and I've always taken refuge that CBS produces real soaps, not the slapped together ish that the other networks produce.
However, over the course of the last few years ATWT seems to be following the ABCD (particularly GH) model of soap telling. Sure, they are still better, primarily because they don't leave quite as many holes, but the character destruction, degradation of women, and writing the show around the writers faves has become more and more obvious.
I liked Sheffer's vision of the show (for the most part), but I do think he's responsible for the beginning of this ish. It was under Sheffer that Tom, Margo, Ben, John Dixon and Lucinda became supporting characters. It was under Sheffer that favoritist began, and it was under Sheffer that character destruction began. But, even though Sheffer started this train it's Passante who's making the show into a train wreck. Sure, Sheffer had issues, but at least he threw a bone to the fans of the lesser used actresses and actors. Passante doesn't even really bother to do that.
Under JP we've got trials and tribution of Jennifer Munson. While I think Jenn sucks massive cow nipples, JF is a good actress and the character is tied into a core family and so should have a storyline and should receive air-time. However, the character should not have the whole damn show built around her. I stopped watching the show when Jenn became the central character. (I just tuned back in to see dead Dusty :)). The only other show that caters so much to one freakin character is GH with Carly (and the other sucky six).
Under JP we got the total destruction of Craig. Sure, Sheffer didn't help things with the whole Craig paid people to kidnap Lucy so he could rescue her, but he was still portrayed a loving father. A man, who while he often did fecked up things for his kid and was kind of twisted about the way he showed it, really loved his kids, and wanted them to be happy (it's just his definition of happiness that kind of sucked). Under JP, we got crazy ass Craig who ran Rosanna off the road so that she wouldn't blab about the baby switch.
Under JP, we've got Paul lying to his sister about her baby for no really good reason. We've got Emily going fecking nuts, Will & Gwen being schmoopsy with each other, Dusty as Sonny-lite (down to raising another man's (who he conveniently hated) kid), and Carly working as a damn stripper.
JP creates stories that are almost as women unfriendly as the show that shall not be named. The only woman who is really doing something proactive is Carly. And look what she's resorted to. Margo doesn't get to work on cases, Lucinda's never seen working, Meg is treated like dirt, Sierra has been MIA, Barbara's reacting to her kids, and Lily doesn't really have a story in my eyes.
It sucks. ATWT sucks. And I never thought I see the day when ATWT had reached ABCD line-up status. "
